L+D lend support to world-leading mental health research
Lalande + Doyle donated $25,000 to the Royal Ottawa Hospital in February 2014 to help the institution build a state-of-the-art brain imaging centre that will improve mood disorder treatments.
The Royal is in a race to become the first North American hospital to house a brain imaging centre of this kind, which will give psychiatrists the tools to determine whether patients would benefit best from medication or psychotherapy.
“The Royal Ottawa Hospital is a recognized leader in its field, and an important contributor to the wellbeing of our community,” says L+D President Philippe Doyle. “We were honoured to be able to support its work with this gift to the Royal Ottawa Foundation’s Campaign for Mental Health.”
L+D’s donation will be recognized with a plaque at the Royal Ottawa Hospital.
